×ABSTRACT
The increase of human activties gives impact to increase of
dump volume. The increase amount of dump volume is handled by
DKP(Sanitation Dept), collected in the TPS (Temporary Junkyard),
and then brought to TPA Putri Cempo to be disposed or recycled.
The wide area of TPA Putri Cempo is abaout 17 hectares and has
been planned to be use for 20 years. Howe ever, the fact6 has
occured that its 15th the junkyard capcity and the dump disposal.
The thing raised in this documentary film is the efforts taken by
goverment and the trasmen to solve the problem of TPA putri
Cempo whisch is nearly overload.
The aim of this research is to increase and support the
goverment’s and the trashment’s efforts in solving the problem of
TPA Putri Cempo which is nearly overloaded. The background and
the motivation are also included. The research held in TPA Putri
Cempo. The data collecting methods are through documentation,
observation, and interview.
After a deeply research, it can be concluded that the
existance of TPA Putri Cempo is nearly reach its maximum capacity
limit and it needs immediate solving. So the goverment supposes to
find the effectives solutions so that the dump problem in surakarta
city can be solved. The mutual relationship among the DKP and the
thrasmen of TPA Putri cempo is a good beginning to solve the
junkyard problem. The close relationship built by the goverment and
the thrasmen becomes a good example for the people/society
whenever the dump mangement problem seems to be wider and
wider.
