× ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi kelas X Akuntansi 1 SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Kabupaten Klaten. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi antara peneliti, guru kelas dan melibatkan partisipasi siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi 1 SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Kabupaten Klaten tahun ajaran 2009/2010, yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan berupa: (a) observasi, (b) wawancara, (c) tes, dan (d) dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap: (a) perencanaan tindakan, (b) pelaksanaan tindakan, (c) observasi, dan (d) refleksi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prestasi mata pelajaran akuntansi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS). Hal tersebut terefleksi dari beberapa indikator sebagai berikut: (a) keaktifan siswa dalam bertanya menunjukkan peningkatan dari 21 siswa atau 52,5% pada siklus I menjadi 28 siswa atau 70% pada siklus II, (b) keaktifan siswa dalam menjawab menunjukkan peningkatan dari 22 siswa atau 55% pada siklus I menjadi 30 siswa atau 75% pada siklus II, (c) keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi kelompok menunjukkan peningkatan dari 28 siswa atau 70% pada siklus I menjadi 35 siswa atau 90% pada siklus II, (d) adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 38 siswa atau 95% pada siklus I menjadi 40 siswa atau 100% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa. ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to improving students learning result by the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) on accounting subject students of x accountancy 1 SMK 1 Pedan Kabupaten Klaten in 2009/2010 academic year. The research model used by researcher is Classroom Action Research. This study is conducted collaboratively among researcher, classroom teacher and involved the students participation. The subject of this study was the students of X accountancy 1 SMK 1 Pedan Kabupaten Klaten in 2009/ 2010 academic year, which consist of 40 students. The technique for collecting the data was: (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) test, and (d) documentations. The procedure of the research covers 4 steps such as: (a) planning the action, (b) action, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. From the research that was done, it can conclude that the improving of students achievement in learning accounting through applying cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The things are reflected by some aspect, as follow: (a) the increasing of the students who active in giving questions from 21 students or equal as 52,5% at the first cycle become 28 students or equal as 70% at the second cycle, (b) the increasing of the students who active in giving answer from 22 students or equal as 50% at the first cycle become 30 students or equal as 75% at the second cycle, (c) the increasing of the students who active in giving group discussion from 28 students or equal as 70% at the first cycle become 35 students or equal as 90% at the second cycle, (d) the increasing of completeness students learning result from 38 students or equal as 95%% at the first cycle become 40 students or equal as 100% at the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve the students accounting learning result.
