×ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Memetakan rumah dosen FKIP
Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta pada tahun 2007, (2) Mengetahui pola
persebaran perumahan dosen FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta pada
tahun 2007, (3) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola persebaran
perumahan dosen FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.
Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka penelitian ini menggunakan
metode deskriptif geografis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah populasi,
dan stratified random sampling (sampel acak terstratifikasi) dengan rumus alokasi
proporsional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi,
observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis
peta, teknik analisis parameter tetangga terdekat dan analisis tabel silang.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Persebaran rumah dosen FKIP UNS
Surakarta tahun 2007 sebagian besar tersebar di Kota Surakarta dan Kabupaten
Karanganyar sejumlah 112 rumah dosen (32%). Berturut-turut besar jumlah dosen
di Kabupaten Sukoharjo sejumlah 79 rumah dosen (22%), di Kabupaten Klaten
sejumlah 17 rumah dosen (5%), di Kabupaten Boyolali sejumlah 13 rumah dosen
(4%), di Kabupaten Sragen sejumlah 11 rumah dosen (3%), dan di Kabupaten
Wonogiri sejumlah 6 rumah dosen (2%). (2) Pola persebaran rumah dosen FKIP
UNS Surakarta tahun 2007 adalah mengelompok dengan nilai T = 0,31917.
Rumah dosen FKIP UNS Surakarta mengelompok di Kota Surakarta dan
Kabupaten Karanganyar. (3) Faktor yang mempengaruhi pola persebaran rumah
dosen adalah : (a) Tingkat pendapatan, (b) Transportasi, (c) Perbedaan keinginan,
(d) Hak milik pribadi, dan (e) Kedekatan dengan fasilitas/pelayanan.
ABSTRACT
This research aims to: (1) Map the FKIP Lecturer’s housing, Sebelas
Maret University Surakarta in 2007, (2) Know the distribution pattern of the
Lecturer’s housing of FKIP, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in 2007, and (3)
Know the factors affecting the distribution pattern of the Lecturer’s housing of
FKIP, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta.
This research used descriptive-geographic method related to the research
purposes. The sampling techniques used are population technique and stratified
random sampling technique with proportional allocation formula. Data collection
techniques used are documentation observation, and interview. Data analysis used
are map analysis, analysis technique of nearest-neighbor parameter, and crosstable
analysis.
The results of this research are: (1) Most of the lecturer’s housing of
FKIP Sebelas Maret University Surakarta in 2007 are in Surakarta Region and
Karanganyar Regency that the total is 112 lecturer’s housing (32%). The number
of lecturer’s housing in Sukoharjo regency is 79 housing (22%), in Klaten
Regency is 17 housing (5%), in Boyolali Regency is 13 housing (4%), in Sragen
Regency is 11 housing (3%), and in Wonogiri Regency is 6 housing (2%). (2) The
distribution pattern of the lecturer’s housing of FKIP Sebelas Maret University
Surakarta in 2007 is a grouping pattern with the T-value = 0,24951. The
Lecturer’s housing of FKIP Sebelas Maret University Surakarta is centered in
Surakarta region and Karanganyar regency. (3) The factors affecting the
distribution pattern of the lecturer’s housing are: (a) the income rate, (b) the
transportation, (c) a differential desirability, (d) the private ownership, and (e) the
closeness with the facility or services.
