Pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative tipe group investigation (gi) dan stad terhadap prestasi belajar matematika ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa

× ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Menelaah efektifitas model pembelajaran cooperative dengan model pembelajaran group investigation (GI) dan model pembelajaran STAD terhadap prestasi belajar geometri. (2) Apakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemandirian belajar sedang maupun rendah? (3) Apakah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran cooperative dengan kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar? Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2010 sampai Juni 2010 dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Di Surakarta. Sampel penelitian ini diperoleh dengan gabungan Stratified Random Sampling dan Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 9, SMP Negeri 16, SMP Negeri 24. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, metode tes, dan metode angket. Validitas instrumen tes menggunakan validitas isi, reliabilitas tes digunakan uji KR-20, derajat kesukaran butir soal, daya beda butir soal. Validitas instrumen angket menggunakan validitas konstruk, konsistensi internal, reliabilitas angket digunakan rumus alpha. Analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (Anava). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe GI lebih baik dari pada model pembelajaran cooperative tipe STAD (2) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemandirian belajar sedang maupun rendah. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran cooperative dengan kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan bangun ruang sisi datar Kata kunci : STAD, GI dan Kemandirian Belajar ABSTRACT This research is aimed at finding out: (1) Whether the students’ achievement of mathematics learning process using GI type cooperative learning model better than STAD type cooperative learning model. (2) Whether the students’ achievement of mathematics learning with high self regulated learning better than with either moderate or low self regulated learning. (3) Is there interaction between the model of cooperative learning with students' self study of learning achievement? The kind of research used in this study is the quasi-experiment. The research was held from January 2010 to June 2010 and the population was the eighth grade students of SMP in Surakarta. The Sampling technique implemented was the combination of Stratified Random Sampling and Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study is, Junior High School 9, Junior High School 16, Junior High School 24. The technique of collecting data was conducted by using the school’s document analysis, test methods, and questionnaire methods. The validity of the test instruments used content validity, the reliability of the test are used KR-20 test, the difficulty degree of the test and carried out item analysis. The validity of questionnaire instruments using the construct validity, internal consistency, reliability questionnaire used alpha formula. The hypothesis test used Analysis of Varians (Anava). Based on the result of the analysis, we can conclude that: (1) The students’ achievement of mathematics learning process using GI type cooperative learning model better than STAD type cooperative learning model (2) The students’ achievement of mathematics learning with high self regulated learning better than with either moderate or low self regulated learning study. (3) There were no interactions between the model of cooperative learning with students to self regulated learning achievement in mathematics on the subject of the plane geometry Key words : STAD, GI , Self regulated learning
