× Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk : meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bentuk energi melalui pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sumber Simo Boyolali tahun pelajaran 2009/2010.
Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Sebagai subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sumber.
Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan tes. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan tehnik deskriptif interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen analisis yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bentuk energi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 sumber, yaitu ditandai dengan: siswa kelas IV sebanyak 15 anak mengalami peningkatan pemahaman konsep yaitu sebelum tindakan hanya 33,34 % siswa belajar tuntas, setelah tindakan menjadi 100%.
The purpose of this classroom action research are to : improve understanding of the concept of energy forms by using contextual approach in the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sumber Simo Boyolali 2009/2010 school year.
The form of this research is Classroom action research, it consist of two cycles, each cycles consist of four stages, they are, planning, action, observation, and reflection.
The data collection is using observation and test. Data analysis technique using interactive model analysis which consists of three analytic components, they are: data reduction, data explanation, and taking the conclusion or verification.
From the research it can be concluded that : the application of contextual approach can improve understanding of the concept of energy in the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sumber, it is shown by: the fourth grade student which consist of 15 students shown the improvement of understanding concept compared to the result before the research is increase from 33,34 % succeed student, after the research increase to 100% succeed students.
