× The research objectives to improve in student numeracy multiplication second grade elementary school Manisharjo 01 Bendosari Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2009/2010 with the use jarimatika techniques. The research form of class action consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, ie planning, implementation, observation and reflection. As a research subject is a second year student elementary school in Academic Year 2009/2010 Manisharjo 2001. Data collection technique used observation and tests. Data analysis technique using an interactive model analysis technique which consists of three components of the analysis are data reduction, data, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study were there is increase the average value obtained from previous students on initial tests on the first cycle, 50.67 then 67.33 to 81.67 in the second cycle. There is an increasing percentage of mastery learning students at the beginning of the test is only 33.33%, and at the first cycle of tests 60.00%; then on the second cycle to 100%. Beside that, students are more enthusiastic and active in participating in the learning process, cooperation has increased, more attention in learning, have the ability to count with jarimatika, and have a positive competitive attitude is higher. Based on this results it can be concluded that: through the use of techniques capable of improving numeracy jarimatika multiplication in second grade elementary school students Manisharjo 01 Bendosari Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2009/2010.
