× ABSTRACT PD. BPR BKK Sragen Karangmalang the Rural Bank of Sragen Regency which is located on the road Dewi Sartika Karangmalang Sragen. PD. BPR BKK Sragen Karangmalang is a financial institution which is engaged in banking activities raise and distribute funds from and to the community. Credit banks have the largest asset in comparison with other bank operations. The purpose of this study is to determine and evaluate the system of granting and repayment of public credit, and to discover strengths and weaknesses of the system. Based on this research, the system of granting and repayment of public credit at the PD. BPR BKK Karangmalang suffice. Bank has an organizational structure that separates each function. Documents used already made copies, serial numbered and has been authorized by the authorities. The accounting records used to show the existence of the entire record has been recorded properly. The procedures performed were in accordance with the regulations. The system of credit but there are still deficiencies that there are sections that perform the function rather than to its authority, and there is no less thorough and careful - careful in guaranteed given the potential debitor. Based on the weaknesses found in the author provides recommendations to the PD. BPR BKK Sragen Karangmalang to correct the deficiencies in the system. Recommendations include better each section perform tasks in accordance with its authority. More selective in choosing prospective borrowers and to take becareful in credit rating.
