×ABSTRAK
Pada rinitis alergi terjadi migrasi sel eosinofil ke mukosa hidung sebagai organ sasaran akibat dari dikeluarkannya mediator-mediaotor alergi seperti kemostatik eosinofil. Eosinofil mukosa hidung sebagai pertanda reaksi alergi pada rinitis alergi sehingga dapat dipakai salah satu kriteria diagnostik, namun perlu dibuktikan kesahihannya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sahih tidaknya pemeriksaan eosinofil usapan mukosa hidung berdasarkan nilai sensitifitas dan spesifitasnya. Apabila nilainya tinggi dapat digunkanan sebagai salah satu kriteria diagnosis rinitis alergi terutama pada daerah yang sarana laboratoriumnya belum lengkap.
Hasil penelitian eosinofil dianggap positif bila ditemukan eosinofil yang dikerjakan oleh laboratorium patologi klinik RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta, dengan tes kulit tusuk sebagai baku emas yang dilakukan pada bagian THT RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta.
Analisa penelitian ini berdasarkan nilai sensitifitas dan spesifitas dari sampel 33 orang. Didapatkan angka sensitifitas 85,00% dan spesifitas 38,46%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan eosinofil usapan mukosa hidung dapat dipakai menilai rinitis alergi.
ABSTRACT
In allergic rhinitis, there were migration of eosinofil cells to the nasal mucose as a target organ, because of releasing allergic mediators such as eosinofil chemotactic. Eosinofil in nasal mucose, asa a marker in allergic rhinitis, can be used as one of diagnostic criteria, but its validity need to be proved.
The aim of this research is to determine the validity of the eosinofil swab of nasal mucose, based on its specificity and sensitivity value. If the value is high, we can use the allergic rhinitis diagnostic criteria, especially in the place where the laboratory facillity is not complete.
The result of eosinofil evaluation is positive if the eosinofil is found by clinical pathology laboratory of Dr. Moewardi Hospital, compare with the skin prick test, as a gold standar, done at ENT Departement in Dr. Moewardi Hospital, Surakarta.
This scientific analysis is based on its sensiivity and spesifity value from 33rd sample. The result is 85% for its sensitivity value and 38.46% for its specificity value.
In conclusion, the eosinofil swab of nasal mucose can be used to support the diagnostic of allergic rhinitis.
