× ABSTRAC The basic aim is to prepare college students to have the ability to live amid the academic community. Learning is a process that continually run private place in human life. Learning style refers to how students receive information and process it. There are three dominant learning style in influencing the academic achievement of students. Namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of learning styles and the learning achievement of midwifery care subjects II in D IV Midwifery students FK UNS. This research is an observational study with cross sectional analytic. The study was conducted in June 2010 and the population in this study is D Iv midwifery students has embarked on a course of midwifery care II by 178 students. Sampling technique We use is random sampling (30 to test the questionnaire and 85 for samples). Data collection techniques for using the learning style questionnaire, while for academic achievement by using the documentation of the value of Midwifery Care II subjects. Analysis of the data in this study using chi squared analysis with SPSS 12 for Windows. Results of analysis of research data is 7.098 X2 count is greater than X2 table is 5.991, indicating the research hypothesis is accepted. Means there is a relationship between Student Learning Styles with Student Learning Achievement Midwifery FK UNS D IV.
