The aims of this research are to investigate: (1) Relationship between the education level and the attitude of the family heads in managing domestic garbage, (2) Relationship between the earnings and the attitude of family heads in managing domestic garbage, (3) Relationship between both education level and the earnings toward the attitude of the family heads in managing domestic garbage.
Correlational Method was used for conducting this research. There are three variables in this research, namely two free variables; Education Level (X1) and Earnings of Family Heads (X2) and one tied variable; Attitude of Family Heads in managing domestic garbage. The Population of this research are all family heads in Candisari Village, Purwodadi sub-district, Grobogan Regency. The sample collecting technique was random sample as many as 156 family heads. Data collecting technique were questionnaires, documentation and observation. Data analysis applied in this research was double regression method.
The results of this research are; (1) there is positive correlation between education level and the attitude of family heads in managing domestic garbage which can be shown in the number of rcount> rtable that is : 0,297 > 0,159, (2) there is positive correlation between the earnings and the attitude of family heads in managing domestic garbage which can be shown in the number of rcount > rtable that is: 0,230 > 0,159, ( 3) there is positive correlation between both education level and the earnings toward the attitude of family heads in managing domestic garbage which can be shown in the number of rcount > rtable that is: 0,3057 > 0,159.
