× KEEFEKTIFAN HIPNOTERAPI TERHADAP PENURUNAN DERAJAT KECEMASAN DAN GATAL PASIEN LIKEN SIMPLEKS KRONIK DI POLIKLINIK PENYAKIT KULIT DAN KELAMIN RSDM SURAKARTA By : ROMY NOVRIZAL ABSTRACT Background: Many studies found that anxiety is very common in patient with chronic lichen simplex. In chronic lichen simplex treatment, multidisciplinary approatch is very important. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy are effective for mean while there is a few another psychosocial intervention researches, for example; hypnotherapy. Objective: This study is aimed to know about the efficacy of hypnotherapy for anxiety and pruritic intensity in patients with chronic lichen simplex. Methods: This study used randomized experimental pretest-post-test control group design. The subjects of study are patients with chronic lichen simplex who have underwent therapy in the Dermato Venerology of Dr. Moewardi Hospital, and meet inclusion and exclusion criteria of study. Taking samples with purposive sampling technique. The instruments of study used are Lie-Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (L-MMPI), The Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS), and Pruritic Score. Statistical Analysis was conducted using SPSS version 17.0 program. Statistic analyses used were t-test, Chi Square and Pearson Correlation test, with the significance limit of 5%. Results: The result of data analysis showed that there are statistically significant in difference efficacy for decreasing of TMAS (t test = 2.251, p= 0.031) and Pruritic Score (t test = 4.870, p= 0.000) between hypnotherapy and control group. Conclusion: This study conclude that hypnotherapy are effective for decreasing both anxiety and pruritic intensity in patients with Chronic lichen simplex.
