Some problems in english teaching and learning activities to the seventh grade students in SMPN 14 of Surakarta

× This final project report was written based on the job training done by the writer as an English teacher in SMPN 14 of Surakarta. The purposes are to know and to understand the English teaching and learning activities in SMPN 14, including the problems during English teaching and learning process, and the solution for those problems. By observing the class and teaching directly at the seventh grade class, the writer could write the final project completely. There were some problems during English teaching and learning activities in SMPN of 14, Surakarta. The problems faced by the students were less motivation, lack of English vocabulary, less cooperation. The problems faced by the teacher were having limited time, having a big class, handling the students. The writer also presented the solution to solve those problems. There are also some benefits got by the writer during the job training and activities. The writer is able to control the class well and knows how to arrange the lesson plan appropriately.
