× Giving credit to potential customer is very important to be evaluated. Prospective debtor or his own employees the possibility to conduct fraudulent activity or fraud. This problem is common in the banking world, so if there is such a case at bank, the bank’s financial condition would be down or experiencing loss. PT BPR Gondangrejo Karanganyar which business is enggaged in the provision of credit to small traders also have experienced problem such as the incident. Authors conducted this study aims to evaluate the loan giving system that has been used by banks, so the system can run even better. In accordance with the above issue with the research, the provision of credit at PT BPR Gondangrejo Karanganyar is a system that has been well planned. The system consists of acceptance of borrowers, guarantee feasibility surveys, meetings upon receipt of borrowers who will take a credit, and transfer credit money if there was an agreement. Result of research conducted by the authors there are some advantages and disadvantages of loan giving system. The advantages of this system include: the separation of the functions of each part have been there, the use of documents with the date of manufacture and serial number printed, and the skill level of employees in accordance with the parts they occupy. While the weakness of this system include: the customer service is not reported prior to the directors when there are prospective borrowers who will do the loan, surveys and marketing can be done almost all the parts, the credit committee of not filing paperwork identity of borrowers who fail to make loan. These weaknesses in loan giving system can be an evaluation and recomendations to fix the credit system on PT BPR Gondangrejo Karanganyar to make it better again.
