× Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar passing atas bola voli melalui pendekatan bermain pada siswa kelas X 3 SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Intack Group dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X 3 SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2010/2011 yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Data hasil belajar passing atas bola voli diperoleh melalui tes unjuk kerja, lembar observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kegiatan siswa di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran passing atas bola voli melalui pendekatan bermain. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: dari jumlah ketiga aspek pembelajaran yaitu aspek afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor siswa diketahui bahwa hasil belajar passing atas meningkat dari 34,28% siswa yang lulus pada kondisi awal menjadi 62,85 % pada akhir siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 82,85 % pada akhir siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pendekatan belajar melalui pendekatan bermain dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar passing atas bola voli siswa kelas X 3 SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2010 /2011. This research aims to find out the improvement of volleyball upper passing learning achievement using game approach in the X3 graders of SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar in the school year of 2010/2011. The research method employed was a descriptive qualitative method. Intact Group in this research was the X3 graders of SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar in the school year of 2010/2011 consisting of 35 students. The data on volleyball upper passing learning achievement was obtained through demonstration test, while the observation sheet was used for collecting data on student activity in attending the volleyball passing learning process through playing approach. From the result of research it can be concluded as follows: from the three aspects of learning: affective, cognitive and psychomotor of student, it can be found that the upper passing learning achievement increases from 34.28% student who passes successfully in prior condition to 62.85% in the end of cycle I and increases to 82.85% in the end of cycle II. Considering the result of research, it can be concluded that the learning approach through game approach can improve the volleyball upper passing learning achievement using game approach in the X3 graders of SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar in the school year of 2010/2011.
