×Birth certificate is a document on population is very important to the
future of a child. Implementing agencies in each area of population administration
is the Office of Population and Civil Registration (Dispendukcapil). The
observation was conducted to determine the procedures common in the birth
certificate Dispendukcapil Surakarta. This type of observation is a qualitative
descriptive, that is only referring to the identification of properties or
characteristics that distinguish a group of people, objects or events. Techniques of
data collection is done through observation, interviews, and study the document.
Data analysis is done using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data
presentation, and drawing conclusions.
Observations show that the birth certificate procedures common in the
city surakarta is in conformity with laws and regulations Surakarta. The procedure
of making common birth certificate can be divided into two, namely the general
procedures used to manufacture a birth certificate and a special public. Procedures
and general requirements for the manufacture of both types of birth certificates is
the same. This difference is the other requirements / attachments required in each
class of birth at the birth of a special general. Birth classes that are specific
categories of common birth is the birth of unknown origin or the presence of
parents, birth events that occurred outside of Indonesia, birth events that occurred
in aircraft and ships, registration of birth if the child late in the process of making
the birth certificate , and adopted children. Problems in the implementation of
services that met the birth certificate of the results of these observations include
the presence of bribery and the presence of brokers in the birth certificate.
