× Nursanti Setianadewi, G0008231, 2011. The Relation of Neutrophil Blood Level with Impairment Severity Outcome of Ischemic Stroke Patient in Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. Objectives: This research is aims to know the relation between neutrophil blood level with impairment severity outcome of ischemic stroke patient at Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. Methods: This study was analytic by using cross-sectional design. The target population was ischemic stroke patient of hospitalization care of Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta . The source population was ischemic stroke patient of Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. The sample was chosen by “simple random sampling” technique. The dependent variable was impairment severity outcome. The independent variable was neutrophil blood level. The data was analyzed by using chi square model, run on SPSS version 17. …………………………………………. Results : From the data analysis, we got X2 = 6.607 and X2 table = 3.841. So, the conclusion was H1 accepted and H0 rejected with  = 0,05. From the data analysis with SPSS version 17 got p = 0.000, it showed a significant mean relation between neutrophil blood level with impairment severity outcome of ischemic stroke patient. Value of OR  8.75. Conclusion: There was strong relation between neutrophil blood level with impairment severity outcome of ischemic stroke patient.
