This study examined the predictive relationship between dimensions of emotional intelligence and career decision making self-efficacy and between dimensions of emotional intelligence and career commitment and exploration. The researcher also wanted to examine moderating effect of sex o n the relationship between dimensions of emotional intelligence and career decision making self-efficacy and also emotional intelligence and career commitment and exploration. <!--?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /-->

Data were colllected by using questionnaire which was distributed to the year 2003 undergraduate students of Economics Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. In total 130 questionnaires were distributed, o nly 109 were returned and 100 of them were valid for the data to be analyzed.

Using hierarchical regression analysis, a significant predictive relationship (p < 0>
