× This final project report is written based on my job training experience which has been done for three months in the Housekeeping Department at Novotel Solo. The objectives of this report are to describe the duties and responsibility of the Housekeeping Department at Novotel Hotel Solo and describe the problems faced by Housekeeping Department and the best solution to handle this problem. In the job training process, I worked in 3 housekeeping main sections: the Houseman Section, Linen and Uniform Section and Floor section. My job in the Houseman Section was to keep the cleanness and tidiness of In Balance fitness center, Vous spa and massage and swimming pool areas. In Linen and Uniform Section, my job was to collect and wash the dirty linens. I also had a task to deliver and arrange the clean linens into the pastry room or the room boy trolley. My job in Floor Section was to prepare the guest room. In the last chapter, I suggest that the management personnel should pay more attention to the work quality to make the best performance and service of the hotel and also pay more attention to the employees by giving extra salary if the employees have to work overtime. Through this way, it is expected to make the hotel be able to compete with the other hotels.
