× The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is significant influence between the understanding of the equality of the citizens of multicultural attitudes (study on high school class X Assalaam Sukoharjo Academic Year 2011/2012. The research was carried out using quantitative descriptive method. The study population is the entire high school class X Assalaam Sukoharjo Academic Year 2011/2012 which amounted to 170 students. The sample used by 42 student researchers. Data collection techniques for variable understanding of citizen equality using the test, while for the multicultural attitudes using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is a predictor of regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study concluded: "There was a significant influence on the understanding of equality of citizens of multicultural attitudes in high school class X Assalaam Sukoharjo Academic Year 2011/2012. This is shown in the tcount of 2.28 and has consulted with the TTable of 1.684 with a significant level of 5% (tcount> TTable or 2.28> 1, 684) means that the t count> t table shows the influence of variable X to variable Y .
