× This research aims to find out the effectiveness level of Incidental entertainment tax on Local Original Income, to find out the effectiveness level of Local Original Income, and to find out its contribution to Local Original Income. The data used was secondary data obtained based on the information to the study, literature, and other information. The result of analysis on the effectiveness level of incidental entertainment tax during 2008-2011 period showed the sufficiently good effectiveness level with mean effectiveness of 152%. Viewed from the effectiveness level, the Local Original Income of 2008-2011 showed good effectiveness level (effective) with the mean calculation value of 101.10%. Meanwhile viewed from the ratio of incidental entertainment tax to Local Original Income, it showed the relatively small contribution with the mean value of 0.00186%. From the analysis on the incidental entertainment tax and its contribution to Local Original Income of Boyolali, the writer recommended the DPPKAD of Boyolali to improve and to optimize its performance in the attempt of improving the effectiveness level of incidental entertainment tax and its contribution to the local original income.
