×Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Untuk mengetahui peningkatkan
pemahaman konsep bangun ruang melalui metode Guided Inquiry. (2)
Mendiskripsikan penerapan Metode Guided Inquiry dalam meningkatkan
pemahaman konsep bangun ruang pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1
Krasak.Variabel yang menjadi sasaran perubahan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas
ini adalah pemahaman konsep bangun ruang sedangkan variabel tindakan adalah
dengan metode Guided Inquiry.
Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan
dalam 3 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan,
observasi dan refleksi tindakan. Sebagai subjek 21 siswa. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Dengan
mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dapat dilihat dari perkembangan
nilai. (2) Sedangkan dengan menggunakan Metode Guided Inquiry dapat
peningkatan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang siswa kelas IV SD Negeri I Krasak
Teras Boyolali Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan
peningkatan nilai pemahaman konsep bangun ruang siswa pada setiap siklus.
Sebelum tindakan (pra-siklus) nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep bangun ruang
adalah 58,19 dimana siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan
minimal (KKM) yaitu 70 hanya 8 siswa (38,10%). Siklus I nilai rata-rata
meningkat menjadi 72,85 dan sebanyak 12 siswa (57,15%) yang memperoleh nilai
di atas KKM. Siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 77 dengan 15
siswa (71,43%) yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM. Siklus III nilai rata-rata
siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 80,5 dengan 17 siswa (80.96%) yang memperoleh
nilai di atas KKM
The goal of This research are (1) to know the development of understanding
concept of shapes through the method of guided inquiry (2) Describe the
Applying method of guided inquiry in improving the understanding concept of
shapes at the student of fourth class at elementary school of Krasak. The Variable
of this target change of this classroom action research is understanding concept of
shapes, while the action variable that used in this research is the development
method of guided inquiry.
The Form of this research is a classroom action research performed in 3
cycles. Every cycle consisted of four steps they are planning, action of the
execution, observation and reflection. The subjects are twenty one students. The
data analysis technique that is used are reduction of the data, presentation of the
data, and conclusion withdrawal.
Based on the result of classroom action research, it can be concluded that : (1)
the enhance of understanding concept could be seen from the score development
(2) By using the method of guided inquiry there is enhance of understanding
concept of shapes at the student of fourth class at elementary school of Krasak,
Teras, Boyolali in the academic year of 2011 / 2012. It can be proved that by the
increasing score of the understanding concept of shapes of the students in every
cycle. Before the action (pre cycle) the average value of understanding concept of
shapes is 58.19, within the student whose get the score over the complete criterion
minimize (KKM) that is 70 is only 8 students (38,10%). In the first cycle the
average value increase to 72,85, and twelve students (57,15%) get the higher
score of the complete criterion minimize. In the second cycle the average value of
the student increase to 77 within fifteen students (71,43%) get the score over the
complete criterion minimize, and in the third cycle the average value of the
