× PT Astra International - Daihatsu Solobaru branch Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk. The company is engaged in the sale of cars, garage services, body repair services and sales of automobile spare parts. In order to fulfill the demand of spare parts for body repair needs to be effective and efficient, PT Astra International - Daihatsu Tbk Solobaru branches should be supported with a good management system. The purpose of this study to determine the accounting system is applied to the procurement of spare parts PT Daihatsu Astra International Tbk and to know the strengths and weaknesses of the existing system of procurement of spare parts at PT Daihatsu Astra International Tbk. Results of the study indicate that the accounting system of procurement of spare parts at PT Astra International Tbk Daihatsu has some advantages and disadvantages. advantages include procurement accounting system has been using a computerized system to facilitate the procurement of spare parts in the recording process, the application used by PT Astra International - Daihatsu Tbk Branch Solobaru between parts from one another are connected to this speed up the performance of the procurement of spare parts. While the drawback is that if a computer error procurement activity is discontinued, no replacement documents at any time if a computer error, part two concurrent spare parts, parts procurement and receipt of goods. The authors concluded that the systems used by PT Astra International - Daihatsu Tbk Branch Solobaru in conducting the procurement of spare parts have good records. The company has used a computerized system to facilitate the process of recording inventory of spare parts. But there are still some weaknesses, namely the lack of manual documents, thus recording only rely on a computerized system.
