× This study aims to determine the level of health of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk using CAMEL during the period 2009 to 2013 are included in the category of healthy, fairly healthy, less healthy, or unhealthy. CAMEL analysis has five aspects, namely capital using the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), aspect ratio of asset quality using KAP (Kualitas Aktiva Produktif) and PPAP (Penyisihan Penghapusan Aktiva Produktif), management aspects using the calculation of general management and risk management , aspects profitability using ROA (Return on Assets) and BOPO (Biaya Operasional Terhadap Pendapatan Operasional) , and the aspect of liquidity using Cash Ratio and LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio). Based on the results of research that has been conducted at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk stated that the level of health of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Perser )Tbk period from 2009 to 2013 received the title healthy of all aspects of CAMEL analysis. This means that PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has sufficient capital to execute its activities, is able to return the funds invested in productive assets, is able to manage general and risk management well, is able to generate profits by reducing costs, and is able to pay short term financial liabilities on time . According to the authors, the CAMEL method can also be used as a reference to give ratings to the company. This is because the five CAMEL factors are the basic factors to measure the performance of every aspect of a bank. In order to improve the level of health, it is advisable to PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to strengthen its operations so that the number of assets, the amount of the disbursement of funds either in the form of credit and placement in other banks, as well as operating income.
