× This final project report is written based on the job training in Dr. Moewardi Hospital for two months in Public Relations Division and Marketing Sub Division. I did some activities during the job training, as a Telephone Operator, Customer Service, and a part of Marketing Sub Division. The aims of this final project report are to evaluate the effectiveness of communication channels (Literature and Personal Presentation), and to propose improvement in the existing communication channels. The data of the report were gained by doing interview and observation in Dr. Moewardi Hospital. The use of literature and personal presentation is less effective because the aims of these communication channels are not achieved yet. The implementation of these communication channels still have weaknesses. Thus, the writer proposes improvement to make the two communication channels more effective. The proposals are Public Relations Division needs to appoint staff for the production of literature. The literature is also made more attractive and distributed to wider public. Besides, personal presentation needs to be done in condusive location, personal presentation needs to be well schedule and involve more staff to prepare everything which is needed. Hopefully, this final project report can be a reference for Public Relations Division and Marketing Sub Division in Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta to make the existing communications channels more effective.
