× The aims of this final project report which was written based on the job training in Lorin Solo Hotel are to evaluate the promotion strategies of Public Relations Department of Lorin Solo Hotel to promote F&B Services and to propose the strategy plan in promoting the product or event of F&B Services by Public Relations Department. The data of this report were gained by doing interview and observation in Lorin Solo Hotel. Public Relations department uses old and modern strategies to publish the information to public. The old strategy is using written media such as brochure, leaflet, booklet, catalogue, etc. While the modern strategy is using high technology such as TV network and website. To increase relationship with other companies, Lorin Solo Hotel also builds partnership. Most of the strategies are dealing with media, so Public Relations Manager has to maintain and keep good relationship with media. Public Relations Department of Lorin Solo Hotel has done the job well, but there are some promotion tools to be improved. Cooking class will be more interesting if it is held in public area. Food bazaar in Kampoeng Ikan needs to be held with unique concept and setting. Besides, the writer proposes plan for Lorin Solo Hotel to promote F&B Service by using social media. The tools of social media can be used by Lorin Solo Hotel, such as facebook, twitter, path, instagram, and blackberry messenger (BBM). Social media will help Lorin Solo Hotel in publishing information to public fast. Hopefully, this final project report can be a reference for the Public Relations Department of Lorin Solo Hotel to make the best strategy to promote the F&B Services Department in order to get maximum guest.
