× This thesis is aimed to find out the correlation between (1) students’ interest in listening to English Songs and listening skill; (2) students’ vocabulary mastery and listening skill; (3) students’ interest in listening to English Songs and vocabulary mastery toward listening skill. The method that is used in this study is correlational study. The study was conducted in April 2014 at SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. The population of this study is all the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in the academic year of 2013/2014 which consists of six classes. The total number of the population is 182 students. By using cluster random sampling technique, the writer takes class XI IPA 1 as the sample which consists of 29 students. The instruments to collect the data are in the form of questionnaire and test. The questionnaire is used to collect the data of students’ interest in listening to English songs while the test is used to collect the data of vocabulary mastery and listening skill. The techniques which are used in analyzing the data are Simple and Multiple Linear Regression and Correlation. The result of the study shows that in the level of significance α = 0.05 it is found that (1) there is a positive correlation between the students’ interest in listening to English songs and listening skill (2) there is positive correlation between vocabulary mastery and listening skill, and (3) there is a positive correlation between the students’ interest in listening to English songs and vocabulary mastery simultaneously and listening skill. From the results of the study it is also known that students’ interest in listening to English songs and vocabulary mastery are important factors that give contribution to listening skill. It means the increase of the students’ interest in listening to English songs and vocabulary mastery, either partially or simultaneously will be followed by the increase of the students’ listening skill. From the result of the study, it is known that the students’ interest in listening to English songs and vocabulary mastery are important factors that can improve their listening skill. Those two factors cannot be ignored and should be maintained and elevated in increasing the students’ listening skill.
