× This final project report is written based on the job training in PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Sumarmo International Airport Surakarta. The objectives were to describe the activities of Information Unit in Adi Soemarmo Airport in providing aviation information service and to describe the problems faced by Information Unit in providing aviation information service and giving solutions to overcome the problems PT. Angkasa Pura I is a State Owned Enterprise (SOE) in the field of airport management, undertaking a broad range of airport services for passengers and airlines. During the job training, the writer did many kinds activities such as : announced information about the flight schedules for the passengers, received all incoming calls, sold platform and borrowed daily pass card, booked and checked in airplane ticket, wrote all of flight activities into log book, and became customers service in information unit. There were some problems faced by PT. Angkasa Pura I information unit The problems were: lack of public information support facilities in airport area, write all of flight activities into log book,flight schedule update for passengers, platform and daily pass, and telephone network quality in Information Unit. Based on the job training, I give the solutions to solve the problems, i.e :, provided suggestion and critic sheets in the information unit counter, added more airlines and destinations online updating for flight information at the official website, and improved the sound and image information quality.
