The problem in this research is how the local wisdom makes utilizing of Sultanaat Ground in District Gamping, Sleman. For the analitical data, it is used Qualitative Inductive Method, based on the fenomology paradigm. The invention of this research is that the management of Sultanaat Ground done by the Palace is through the local wisdom. The utilization of Sultanaat Ground is by publishing a letter of a long term rent land approvement. The Palace also gives authority to the local government for managing the Sultanaat Ground through special authority letter, as giving permission to build a building. Then the Palace implements local wisdom principal which is “ a shelter  “, or a kind from the Palace for its people.
