This paper is arranged and written, to understand the application process of fumigation, at CV.Yudhistira in boyolali, and to know the fumigation role in maintaining the exported product quality in the company.The method used in the research is qualitative descriptive, suppported with tables and direct observation and interviews in the field. Based on the observation, it can be concluded that the application of fumigation process with sulfuryl fluoride, start from preparation until the finished process, conducted by CV.Yudhistira through CV.Bahari Persada Fumindo, has met the barantan standard. The fumigation process conducted, is to maintain the exported commodities quality, and protecting them from the destructive organism, such as fungus and other animals, that can cause the wood’s material quality destruction. in addition to that, fumigation is one of the requirenment to ensure the export activites to the export country destination. Inputs can be given , from the conducted research is that the fumigation process conducted by CV.Yudhistira is just being done once, inside the container. Which according to the barantan standard, it is supposed to be conducted twice, in the export warehouse, as well as inside the container, so the function of the process could be optimized. It is also expected, that the government could regulate a standard waste management , resulting from the fumigation material use, to be met by the business player, to avoid and prevent the un-proper application of the fumigation process, toavoid the unwanted loss.
