ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) karakteristik produk modul fisika kontekstual untuk peserta didik kelas X SMK Harapan Kartasura. (2) kelayakan produk modul fisika kontekstual untuk peserta didik kelas X SMK Harapan Kartasura. (3) efektivitas modul fisika kontekstual untuk peserta didik kelas X SMK Harapan Kartasura.
Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D meliputi tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan. Pengembangan modul ini dinilai berdasarkan kelayakan materi dan media oleh 2 dosen, 2 guru, dan 2 peer review.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul fisika kontekstual pada materi usaha, energi, dan daya dikembangkan berdasarkan kriteria modul yang diadaptasi dari Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan (Pustekkom) Depdiknas menggunakan model 4-D meliputi tahapan define berupa analisis kebutuhan, tahap design berupa penyusunan draf modul, tahap develop berupa validasi draf modul oleh 2 dosen, 2 guru fisika, dan 2 peer review, setelah valid dilakkan uji coba kecil pada 9 siswa dan diimplementasikan pada skala luas, dan tahap terakhir dilakukan disseminate pada 10 guru fisika di Karesidenan Surakarta. Modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi karakteristik modul fisika kontekstual yang mengacu pada Kurikulum 2013 dan setiap kegiatan meliputi aspek-aspek berdasarkan pendekatan kontekstual yang meliputi constructivism (konstruktivisme), questioning (bertanya), learning community (masyarakat belajar), inquiry (menemukan), modeling (pemodelan), authentic assessment (penilaian yang sebenarnya), reflection (refleksi). Modul dikatakan layak karena memenuhi aspek dalam kriteria kelayakan modul yang terdiri dari aspek isi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikan. Modul pembelajaran fisika kontekstual pada materi usaha, energi, dan daya efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan gain score ternomalisasi sedang.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this study are to determine the characteristics of contextual product physics module for students of class X vocational school Harapan Kartasura, the feasibility of contextual product physics module for students of class X vocational school Harapan Kartasura, the effectiveness of contextual physics module for students of class X vocational school Harapan Kartasura.
This study was a Research and Development (R&D) used 4-D model by Thiagarajan which involving the define, design, develop, and disseminate. The module development judged on the feasibility of the material and media by 2 lecturers, 2 teachers, and 2 peer review.
The result of this study were the module physics based contextual teaching and learning on work, energy, and power was developed based on criteria from adapted from under Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan (Pustekkom) Depdiknas using 4-D model include stages define the form of the analysis of needs, such as the drafting stage module design, develop form validation phase draft module by 2 lecturers, 2 teachers of physics , and 2 peer review, after a valid trials conducted small at 9 students and implemented on a wide scale, and the last stage is done disseminate the 10 physics teachers.
Developed module has very good quality category so that used in learning physics. The characteristics of contextual physics module meets the basic competencies that are used refer to Curriculum 2013 and every activity includes aspects based on a contextual approach which includes constructivism, questioning, learning community, inquiry, modeling, authentic assessment, reflection, learning module has a good criterion in terms of feasibility aspects of the content, language and image, presentation, and graphict after field trials conducted on students and teachers, module is effective in improving students' cognitive value, it can be seen from the difference in student learning outcomes before and after application of the moduleand has a category of medium.
