ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas metode Team Games Tournament (TGT).dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika materi bangun ruang pada siswa kelas VI C SLB Negeri Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe one group pre-test post-tets design. Subjek penelitian adalah enam siswa tunagrahita kelas VI C SLB Negeri Surakarta. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes berupa observasi dan tes obyektif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisi secara kuantitatif dengan teknik non parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Berdasarkan penghitungan dengan menggunakan SPSS 22, nilai rata-rata post-test subjek penelitian mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 4,33 dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 8,83, dan berdasarkan uji hipotesis, p-hitung dibandingkan dengan taraf signifikansi (0,05). p-hitung sebesar 0,027 dan lebih kecil dibandingkan taraf signifikansi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Team Games Tournament (TGT) efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika materi bangun ruang anak tunagrahita. ABSTRACT
The goal of this research is to determine the effectiveness of method TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) to improve mathematics learning achievement of three dimentional figure on student with mild mental retardation of sixth grade at SLB Negeri Surakarta.
This research use quantitative approach with pre-experimental design and one group pre-test post-tets type. The research subject is six students with mild mental retardation of grade IV at SLB Negeri Surakarta. Data was collected by observation and objective test. Then data was analyzed quantitatively with non- parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Based on the computation with SPSS 22, the mean score of post-test was improve significantly, the mean score of pre-test was 4,3 and the mean score of post-test was 8,83. And based on hypothesis testing, the p-value was compared with the significance level 0,05. The p-value was 0,027 and it lower than the significance level.
It can be concluded that Team Games Tournament (TGT) was effective to improve mathematics learning achievement of three dimentional figure on student with mild mental retardation.
