ABSTRAK
Bisnis waralaba makanan menjadi terobosan baru dalam dinamika perekonomian Indonesia. Peluang bisnis di bidang waralaba khususnya fried chicken merupakan segmen pasar yang menguntungkan bagi calon terwaralaba. Namun terdapat beberapa kasus dimana pewaralabafried chicken tidak mampu memenuhi kewajiban kepada pihak terwaralaba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemilihan waralaba fried chickenmenggunakan metodeTOPSIS. Waralaba yang diteliti adalah Quick chicken, Kane, DGC fried chicken dan Amazy yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai alternatif. Kriteria yang digunakan adalah harga, BEP, royalti, banyak cabang, jumlah produk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peringkat terbaik adalah DGC fried chicken.

ABSTRACT
Food franchise business becomes a new breakthrough in Indonesian economic dynamics. The business opportunity of franchising, particularly in fried chicken, is a profitable market segment to the prospect franchisee. However, there are some cases in which the franchisor of fried chicken is incapable of fulfilling its obligation to the franchisee. This research aimed to select the fried chicken franchise using TOPSIS method. The franchises studied were Quick chicken, Kane, DGC fried chicken and Amazy thereafter called alternatives. The criteria used were price, BEP, royalty, number of branches, and number of products. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the top level was occupied by DGC fried chicken.
