ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk merencanakan penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe AIR sebagai upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TB-A SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik, (2) Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran AIR, (3) Untuk mengetahui efektivitas siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe AIR siswa kelas X TB-A SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, tes, dan kajian dokumen. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dan analisa data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Didapat perencanaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe AIR, (2) Persentase kelulusan kelas: Ranah kognitif pada pra siklus 22%, siklus I 44% dan siklus II post test 91%; Ranah afektif pada tahap pra siklus 25%, siklus I 28% dan siklus II 91%; Ranah psikomotorik pada tahap pra siklus 28%, siklus I 75% dan siklus II 94%; Hasil belajar siswa tahap pra siklus 16%, siklus I 47% dan siklus II 91%, (3) Metode AIR dapat dikatakan efektif.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe AIR mampu meningkatkan penilaian ranah afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor dan dapat dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TB-A SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was (1) To plan the use of cooperative learning used AIR methods as an effort to improve student learning outcomes of TB-A class X SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta on the subjects of Engineering Mechanics, (2) To plan the use of cooperative learning AIR methods as an effort to increase the results of class X student of TB-A SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta on the subjects of Engineering Mechanics, (3) To determine the effectiveness of the students after the implementation of cooperative learning model AIR class X TB-A SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. Data collection techniques using interview, observation, test, and document review. The validity test of the data using data triangulation and data analysis using the interactive model. Based on the results of the study indicate that: (1) Obtained planning learning of cooperative methods AIR type, (2) Graduation of precentage : Cognitive Domains at 22% pre-cycle , the first cycle 44 % and the second cycle post-test 91%; Affective on pre cycle 25%, 28% first cycle and the second cycle 91%; The psychomotor domain of pre cycle 28%, 75% first cycle and the second cycle 94%; Student learning outcomes 16% pre-cycle stages , the first cycle 47% and the second cycle 91%, (3) can be said to be an effective method of AIR. The conclusions of this study is to implement cooperative learning model AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) can improve the assessment affective, cognitive and psychomotor and can be said to be effective in improving student learning outcomes of TB-A class X SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta on subjects Mechanics technique.
