ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan metode Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf; (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS, dan (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penerapan metode pembelajaran Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas V SDN Kenoyojayan Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dengan tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pengamatan, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan metode Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf dapat dilaksanakan melalui langkah-langkah: siswa memperhatikan penjelasan guru menggunakan media flanelgraf, guru mengacak kartu pertanyaan dan kartu jawaban, guru menyampaikan aturan permainan, siswa mendapatkan masing-masing satu kartu, siswa mencari pasangan kartu, siswa bersama pasangannya membacakan kartu pertanyaan, siswa bersama guru mengkonfirmasi jawaban,  siswa bersama guru mengulas materi pelajaran menggunakan media flanelgraf, siswa bersama guru membuat kesimpulan materi pelajaran. (2) Penerapan metode pembelajaran Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN Kenoyojayan. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan meninggkatnya proses belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Proses belajar pada siklus I mencapai 77%, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,5%, meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 89%. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada pratindakan 59,25. Pada siklus I rata-ratanya mencapai 85,3 dan meningkat menjadi 86,75 pada siklus II, meningkat lagi menjadi 87,88 pada siklus III. (3) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan metode Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf meliputi: guru masih kesulitan untuk mengkondisikan siswa, beberapa siswa menolak berpasangan dengan lawan jenis, siswa masih kurang berani bertanya maupun mengemukakan pendapat. Solusinya adalah guru menasihati siswa yang gaduh, guru memberi pujian kepada siswa yang mendapat pasangan lawan jenis, dan guru memberi motivasi kepada siswa supaya lebih aktif.
Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Index Card Match dengan media flanelgraf yang dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN Kenoyojayan tahun ajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the application of Index Card Match learning method with flannel graph media; (2) to improve Social Science learning by using Index Card Match method with flannel graph media; and (3) to describe the problems and solutions on the application of Index Card Match method with flannel graph media in improving Social Science learning at the fifth grade students of SDN Kenoyojayan in the academic year of 2014/2015.
This research used collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) that carried out in three cycles. Every cycle consisting of two a meetings consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The techniques of collecting data were observations, interviews, and tests. Validity data used triangulation of source and technique.
The results of this research show that: (1) the application of Index Card Match method with flannel graph media can be implemented according to the following steps, namely: students pay attention to the teachers’ explanation by using flannel graph media, teachers mess up the question card and answer card, teachers explain the game regulation, each students get one card, students look for the card match, students read their card question with their partner, students confirm the answer with teachers, student with teacher review the lesson material use flannel graph media, student with teacher make the conclusion of lesson material; (2) the application of Index Card Match method with flannel graph media can improve Social Science learning at the fifth grade students of SDN Kenoyojayan. It was proved by the increase of students learning process and learning outcomes in each cycle. The learning process in the first cycle was 77%, increased by 81.5% in the second cycle, increased again by 89% in the third cycle. While the average of students learning outcomes on pre-action was 59,25. Its average in the first cycle was 85.3%, and increased by 86.75 in the second cycle, than increased again by 87.88 in the third cycle. (3) The problems on the application of Index Card Match method with flannel graph media are teachers are still difficult in conditioning students, some students reject to make a pair with different gender, and students are still shy to ask or propose their opinion. The solutions to overcome those problems are teachers give advice to the noisy students, teachers give praise to the students getting different gender partner, and teachers give motivation to students so that they are more active.
The conclusion of this research is the application of Index Card Match method with flannel graph media can improve Social Science learning process and learning outcomes at the fifth grade students of SDN Kenoyojayan in the academic year of 2014/2015.
