ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk: (1) Mengembangkan dan menghasilkan LKS praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk pokok bahasan larutan penyangga, (2) Mengetahui kualitas LKS berdasarkan keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri, respon siswa, dan penilaian guru terhadap LKS praktikum berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan.
Penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan didukung data kuantitatif ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Prosedur penelitian pengembangan ini adalah: (1) Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Informasi, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan produk awal, (4) Uji coba lapangan awal dan revisi produk utama, (5) Uji coba lapangan utama dan revisi produk operasional, (6) Uji coba lapangan operasional dan revisi produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan observasi. Data-data yang diperoleh berasal dari validator yang terdiri atas 2 dosen ahli, 2 guru sebagai reviewer dan 3 peer reviewer, serta responden yang terdiri atas 12, 30 dan 60 siswa dari dua SMA yaitu SMA N 1 Boyolali dan SMA N 1 Teras.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media LKS praktikum pada bahasan pokok larutan penyangga (buffer) kelas XI IPA SMA dapat dikembangkan melalui penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Borg and Gall dan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan secara umum memiliki kualitas yang baik dan sangat baik berdasarkan penilaian validator (tim ahli, reviewer dan peer reviewer) dan juga siswa.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research were: (1) developing and producing laboratory student worksheet on the guided inquiry based learning for subject matter of buffer solution. (2) knowing the quality of worksheet based feasibility stage of inquiry, student response, and assessment of teacher to a laboratory student worksheet on guided inquiry based learning.
This research which used qualitative approach and supported by quantitative data was refer to the research and development method. The procedures of this research were: (1) Collecting information, (2) Planning (3) Initial product development (4) Initial field trial and revision of main product, (5) Main field trial and revision of operasional product, and (6) Operasional field trial and revision of final product. Techniques of data collection were done by questionnaire and observation. The data for this research was obtained by validate subject of research that consist of 2 experts, 2 reviewers (teachers) and 3 peer reviewers and also evaluated by respondents that consist of 12, 30 and 60 students from two Senior High Schools (State Senior High School 1 Boyolali and State Senior High School 1 Teras).
The results showed that the laboratory student worksheet on the guided inquiry based learning in the subject matter of buffer solution for grade XI Science Senior High School can be developed through research and development method with inquiry model and the media learning which had been developed generally had good and very good quality based on the assessment of evaluator team (experts, reviewers and peer reviewers) and students.
