ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan metode Course Review Horay (CRH) dengan media video, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang aktivitas ekonomi yang berkaitan dengan sumber daya alam dan potensi lain di daerahnya pada siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjungsari tahun ajaran 2014/2015, (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusinya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjungsari yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Data berasal dari siswa, guru kelas IV, observer, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) langkah penerapan metode CRH dengan media video dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjungsari tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang tepat yaitu: (a) penyampaian kompetensi, (b) pembagian LKS dan penyajian materi dengan media video, (c) tanya jawab materi, (d) pembentukan kelompok dan pembagian Lembar Diskusi, (e) pembacaan soal dan diskusi soal, (f) pembahasan soal, (g) penskoran, (h) pemberian reward, dan (i) penutup, (2) adanya peningkatan hasil belajar IPS yaitu pada siklus I= 71%, siklus II= 90%, dan siklus III= 94%, (3) Kendala yang ditemui yaitu: (a) guru belum hafal dengan langkah penerapan metode CRH dengan media video, (b) guru terlalu sering menggunakan metode ceramah, (c) pengelolaan kelas belum maksimal, (d) siswa kurang aktif, (e) siswa kurang menerima pembagian kelompok, dan (f) siswa gaduh dalam pembelajaran. Solusi untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut (a) memberi penjelasan kembali langkah penerapan metode CRH dengan media video, (b) mengurangi metode ceramah, (c) guru lebih mengelola kelas, (d) memberi reward yang menarik, (e) memberi pengertian pada siswa, dan (f) guru mengkondisikan kelas agar tetap kondusif.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Course Review Horay (CRH) dengan media video dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjungsari Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps of Course Review Horay method through video, (2) to improve the achievement of Social Science about the economic activity associated with natural resources and other potentials in the region at the fourth grade students of SDN Tanjungsari in the academic year of 2014/2015, and (3) to describe the problems and solutions.
This research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in three cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject was all fourth graders of SDN Tanjungsari amounting to 34 students. The sources of data were students, fourth grade teacher, observer, and document. The data collection techniques were test, observation, interview guidance, and documentation. The validity of the data used triangulation sources and triangulation data collection techniques. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification.
The results show that: (1) the proper steps of Course Review Horay method with video media in improving social science learning at the fourth grade students of SDN Tanjungsari in the academic year of 2014/2015 were: (a) explain the competence, (b) distribution of work sheet and present the material with video media, (c) the question and answer material, (d) divide group and distribution sheet of discussion, (e) read and discuss the questions, (f) the discussion of the question, (g) scoring, (h) give reward, and (i) closing, (2) there is an improvement of social science learning indicated by the passing grade in cycle I was 71%, in cycle II was 90%, and in cycle III was 94%, (3) The problems were: (a) teachers have not memorized implementation steps of Course Review Horay method (CRH) with video media, (b) teachers frequently used the lecture method, (c) classroom management was not maximized, (d) students were inactive, (e) the students did not accept the division of the group, and (f) the students were noisy. Solutions for those problems are (a) give explanations about the steps of implementation of Course Review Horay (CRH) method through video, (b) not use the lecture method frequently, (c) the teacher manages the class well, (d) give an attractive rewards, (e) give understanding to the students, and (f) the teacher manages the class in order to create conducive class.
The conclusion of this research is the implementation of Course Review Horay through video can improve Social Science learning at the fourth grade students of SDN Tanjungsari in the academic year of 2014/2015.
