ABSTRAK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prosedur pemeriksaan pajak yang dilakukan oleh petugas fungsional pemeriksaan kepada Wajib Pajak properti tahun 2013-2014 di KPP Sukoharjo, selain itu peneliti juga ingin mengetahui proses pemeriksaan dan hambatan dalam kegiatan pemeriksaan pajak pada Wajib Pajak properti di KPP Sukoharjo.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, yakni dengan membuat deskripsi yang berhubungan dengan proses pemeriksaan Wajib Pajak properti di KPP Sukoharjo tahun 2013-2014 .
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja fungsional pemeriksaan dari segi realisasi penerimaan pajak properti sudah efektif, karena setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan jumlah penerimaan pajak dari sektor properti mengalami kenaikan.
Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut peneliti memberikan saran yaitu : sebaiknya KPP Sukoharjo mengusulkan penambahan SDM fungsional pemeriksaan karena dalam realita dilapangan setiap petugas memeriksa Wajib Pajak relatif banyak,

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to determine the tax audit procedures performed by audit functional officers to the property taxpayers in Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Sukoharjo during the two past years (2013-2014). Beside, this study also wants to determine the audit process and its obstacle in performing the audit process to the property taxpayers in KPP Sukoharjo.
The research method is used in this study is descriptive method. This method requires to make a description related to the property taxpayers in KPP Sukoharjo during the two past years (2013-2014).
The research result shows that audit functional performance from the property tax revenue perspective is effective because the audit result showed that property tax revenue increased from the last period. According to this result, the suggestion that can be given is: KPP Sukoharjo should propose the addition of the audit functional officer because in the practice each officer is handling the audit process for the relatively large amount of taxpayer.
