ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII AP 1 pada standar kompetensi mengelola dana kas kecil di SMK Negeri 1 Pedan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode think pair share.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII Administrasi Perkantoran 1 SMK Negeri 1 Pedan, Kabupaten Klaten, dengan jumlah siswa 39 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data kuantitatif menggunakan validitas isi dan konstruk. Sedangkan validitas data kualitatif menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode think pair share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dari pratindakan ke siklus I dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada pratindakan terlalu fokus kepada guru sehingga aktivitas siswa kurang beragam dan siswa menjadi pasif. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan rata-rata aktivitas belajar sebesar 69,7% namun peningkatan tersebut belum memenuhi indikator capaian penelitian. Pada siklus II rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 83,1% sehingga bisa mendukung suatu proses belajar mengajar yang aktif.
Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif metode think pair share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII AP 1 pada standar kompetensi mengelola dana kas kecil di SMK N 1 Pedan.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to know the increase of students learning activity class XII AP 1 in the competence standard of managing petty cash at SMK N 1 Pedan by implementation cooperative learning model Think Pair Share Method.
This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was held within two cycles, where each cycle consist of planning, implementing, observing, and reflection. The research participants were 39 students of Class XII Office Administration 1 at SMK N 1 Pedan, Klaten. The Data Source came from the teacher and students. The Data Collection technique was using observation, test, interview, and documentation. The validity of quantitative data used content and construct validity. While the validity of qualitative data used source and method triangulation technique. The data analysis used comparative statistic descriptive analysis and critique analysis technique.
The research showed that through the implementation of cooperative learning model using think pair share method was able to increase the students learning activity from pre-action to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. The students learning activity in pre-action just merely focused on the teacher, so the students activity was not vary and made the students passive. In the cycle I, there was an improvement on students learning average with 69,7% but that improvement had not fulfil the indicator of research achievement yet. In the cycle II, the average of students learning activity increased to be 83,1%, so it could support an active teaching and learning process.
The conclusion of this research is the implementation of cooperative learning model using think pair share method was able to increase the students learning activity class XII AP 1 in the competence standard of managing petty cash at SMK N 1 Pedan.
