ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis
laporan pengamatan melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa
kelas V SD Negeri 2 Wonodoyo tahun ajaran 2014/2015.
Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, sebanyak dua
siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Tiap pertemuan terdiri dari 4
tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek
penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Wonodoyo yang berjumlah 21
siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan
dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif
(Milles & Huberman) yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data,
reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Uji validitas
data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber dan
triangulasi teknik.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model
Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis
laporan pengamatan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Wonodoyo tahun ajaran
2014/2015. Hal ini terbukti dengan meningkatnya nilai keterampilan menulis
laporan pengamatan dari sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakannya tindakan. Pada
saat pratindakan nilai rata-rata sebesar 63,57 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi
69,88, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 76,67. Prosentase ketuntasan siswa
sebelum tindakan (prasiklus) siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan
minimum (KKM) yaitu 70 hanya 8 siswa (38,09 %), siklus I sebanyak 10 siswa
(47,62%) memperoleh nilai di atas KKM, dan pada siklus II sebanyak 19 siswa
(90,48%) memperoleh nilai di atas KKM.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to improve the observation report writing
skill through Problem Based Learning (PBL) model of the students in grade 5 of
state primary school 2 of Wonodoyo in the academic year of 2014/2015.
This research was Classroom action research, it conducted in two cycles.
Each cycle consisted of two confluences. Each cycle consistof four phases,
namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of
this research were model of the students in grade 5 of state primary school 2 of
Wonodoyo as many as 21 students. The data collecting technique were
observation, in-depth interview, test, and documentation. The data analysis
technique was the interactive model of analysis (Milles & Huberman) consisted of
fourstep, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion
drawing. The data validity were aresource triangulation and technique
triangulation.
The result of this research is Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve
students skill of observation report writing at the fifth grade student of SD Negeri
2 Wonodoyo 2014/2015 Academic Year. It is proven on the condition before and
after the action. Where the score averaged grade in pre action was 63,57; in the
first cycle, indicated the score averaged grade increase was 69,88; and In the
second cycle, indicated the score averaged grade increase become 76,67. Before
the treatment (pre cycle) the student who pass the completness minimum criteria
(KKM) more than 70 is only 8 students (38,09%). In the first cycle as much as 10
students (47,62%) can pass the KKM. In the second cycle as much as 19 students
(90,48%) can pass the KKM.
