Tujuan penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah (1) mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya  perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok. (2) mengetahui manakah hasil belajar yang lebih baik antara penggunaan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya dengan pembelajaran dengan metode diskusi kelompok.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah empat kelas XI SMA ABBS Surakarta tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah dua kelas dengan sistem random sampling. Data diambil dari hasil belajar setelah perlakuan terhadap kelas ekseperimen dan kontrol dengan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas dan taraf kesukarannya. Uji prasyarat analisis yang digunakan meliputi : uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t dua ekor. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t satu ekor.
Hasil penelitian adalah : (1). Ada perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode belajar antara tutor sebaya dan diskusi kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dua ekor, didapatkan nilai pengetahuan bahwa thitung = 11.89 sedangkan nilai ttabel = 2.01 untuk taraf signifikansi α = 5%. Sedangkan untuk nilai ketrampilan didapatkan nilai thitung = 3.91 dimana nilai ttabel = 2.01 untuk taraf signifikansi α = 5%. (2). Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t satu ekor, didapatkan nilai pengetahuan bahwa thitung = 34.07 sedangkan nilai ttabel = 2.06 untuk taraf signifikansi α = 5%. Sedangkan untuk nilai ketrampilan didapatkan nilai thitung = -50.70 dimana nilai ttabel = 2.06 untuk taraf signifikansi α = 5%. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran tutor sebaya memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dari pada diskusi kelompok.

The purposes of this research are (1) know there is differenciate or no from the result of the learning process between peer tutoring method and group discussion method. (2) know which one is better between peer tutoring method and group discussion method.

The research method that be used is quantitative description method with the pretest-postest control group design. The population of this research are four classes in grade XI SMA ABBS Surakarta on academic year 2014/2015. The sample of this research are two classes by the random sampling system. The data is gotten form the result of learning process after treathment to the experiment class and control class with the instrument that have been tested the validity, reliability and difficulty scoring. The pre-analyze testing that be used are the normality testing, the homogenity testing and two tails t-test. The hipothesis testing in this research use one tail t-test.
The result of this research are : (1). There is significant differentiation of the result of the learning process between the peer tutoring method and group discussion method. According to the result of two tail t-test, gets the value of knowledge tcount is 11.89 but in ttable is 2.01 for the signification score α = 5%. Then for the value of the skill gets the value of tcount is 3.91 then valur of ttable = 2.01 for the signification score α = 5%. (2). The result of the learning process in the experiment class is better than control class. According to the result of one tail t-test, gets the value of knowledge tcount is 34.07 but in ttable is 2.06 for the signification score α = 5%.
