Tata letak fasilitas produksi merupakan salah satu factor penting dalam sebuah perusahaan,karena hal tersebut berdampak pada pengoptimalan efisiensi proses produksi. Semakinbesarefisiensimakawaktu proses produksi akan lebih cepat dan waktu menganggur akan lebih sedikit. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui layout fasilitas produksi apa yang diterapkan oleh IKOT Qolbun Salim, bagaimana layout fasilitas produksi yang ada di IKOT Qolbun Salim dari segi efisiensinya, dan bagaimana meningkatkan efisiensi layout fasilitas produksi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembahasan keseimbangan lini yaitu dengan menganalisis layout fasilitas produksi yang diterapkan oleh perusahan, dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan proses produksi obat tradisional.
Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa perusahaan menggunakan layout garis, karena proses pekerjaannya harus berurutan, dan pekerjaan lainnya tidak bias dikerjakan jika pekerjaan yang mendahului belum diselesaikan. Analisis efisiensi layout produksi dengan waktu siklus kerja maksimal yang diterapkan perusahaan yaitu 9 menit, menunjukan presentase efisiensi sebesar 12% sedangkan presentase waktu penundaanya sebesar 88%. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi layout produksi, perusahaan harus menerapakan siklus kerja maksimal yaitu 1.5 menit dengan presentase efisiensi 98,3% dan penundaan 1,7%.
Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada perusahaan adalah perusahaan menerapkan siklus kerja terkecil untuk mendapatkan efisiensi yang lebih besar, dan juga waktu penundaan lebih sedikit. Mengevaluasi kembali layout yang diterapakan, apakah sudah tepat dan meringkas stasiun kerja yang dekat atau mirip cara kerjanya. Memeperhatikan produktifitas karyawan dan mesin, sehingga dapat meminimalkan timbulnya hambatan yang mengganggu proses produksi.
The layout of the production facility is one important factor in a company , because it impacts on optimizing the efficiency of the production process . The greater the efficiency of the production process time will be faster and will be less idle time . This study was conducted to determine what production facility layout adopted by IKOT QolbunSalim , how the layout of the existing production facilities in IKOT QolbunSalim in terms of efficiency , and how to improve the efficiency of the production facility layout.
    This study uses a balance line discussion by analyzing the layout of production facilities implemented by the company , and the time required to complete the production process of traditional medicine.
    The results obtained from this study stated that the company uses the line layout , because the work has to be sequential , and other work can not be done if the work has not been completed precedes .Analysis of the efficiency of the production layout with a maximum duty cycle applied to companies that 9 minutes , shows the percentage of efficiency by 12 % while the percentage of time delay by 88 %. To improve the efficiency of the production layout , the company should be applying maximum duty cycle is 1.5 minutes with a percentage efficiency of 98.3 % and 1.7 % delay.
    Advice can be given to the company is a company applying for a work cycle smallest gain greater efficiency , and also a slight delay . Re-evaluate the layout be applicable , whether it is appropriate and summarizing work stations are close or similar to the way it works . Noting the productivity of employees and machines , so as to minimize the obstacles that interfere with the production process
