EMOTIONAL EFFECTS OF TUNTUTAN PEKERJAAN AND
EMOTIONAL TAMPILAN RULES OF BURNOUT AND JOB
SATISFACTION WITH EMOTIONAL DISSONANCE AS A MEDIATOR
(STUDY AT THE GENERAL CRIMINAL POLICE INVESTIGATION
POLICE SURAKARTA)

Organizational and reward systems determine that employees must carry out the
demands of work (tuntutan pekerjaan) from the employees themselves
emotionally affecting. One way to manage emotions is by Emotional emotional
tampilan rules, which are viewed as job requirements aimed at blocking and
standardize emotional expression when dealing with organizational objectives.
When employees do Emotional tampilan rules, positive and negative emotions
suppressed according to the situation Workers who experience positive emotions,
such as joy, peace of self, emotion and excitement of this gives a positive
impression to individuals such as job satisfaction and self achievement. While
workers who experience negative emotions such as stress and anxiety states that
negative emotions such as burnout and the achievement of low self-esteem, job
satisfaction are low.
The sample in this study is the Surakarta Police. As for the respondents in this
study is the police criminal detectives (Criminal Investigation) that can provide
the information required in this study and be willing to become respondents. This
survey respondents totaled 100 respondents from 5 police station and one police
station in the region Surakarta. The sampling method used was personally
administrated questionnaires, while the technique used is purposive sampling.
Data analysis using regression analysis and path analysis (path analysis), which
uses analytical tools AMOS 16.
Based on the analysis of the results obtained: 1) tuntutan pekerjaan secara
emosional does not significantly influence the emotional tampilan rules; 2)
tuntutan pekerjaan secara emosional significant effect on the emotional
dissonance; 3) tuntutan pekerjaan secara emosional significant effect on burnout;
4) Emotional tampilan rules significantly affect the emotional dissonance; 5)
Emotional tampilan rules do not have a significant influence on the Job
Satisfaction; 6) Emotional dissonance significantly affect burnout and mediates
the relationship between tuntutan pekerjaan secara emosional with burnout, 7)
Emotional dissonance no significant impact on job satisfaction and mediate the relationship between Emotional tampilan rules with Job Satisfaction
