ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang dan Tujuan Penelitian. Pemberian informasi merupakan salah
satu upaya preventif untuk menekan jumlah permasalahan yang berhubungan
dengan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja. Studi pendahuluan pada 10 anak umur
13-15 tahun, didapatkan hasil bahwa 5 anak memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang
Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui
pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi pada
remaja SMP N 16 Surakarta.
Metode Penelitian. Desain penelitian eksperimen pretest-posttest control group
design. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dengan media power point.
Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang
digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Jumlah sampel 166 responden, kelompok eksperimen
83 responden dan kelompok kontrol 83 responden. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis
dengan uji Mann Whitney U Test.
Hasil Penelitian. Sebelum penyuluhan diperoleh hasil 42,2% Baik, 50,6% Cukup
dan 7,2% Kurang. Setelah penyuluhan diperoleh hasil 91,6% Baik dan 8,4%
Cukup. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0.000.
Simpulan. Terdapat pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan
kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja SMP N 16 Surakarta.

ABSTRACT
Background and Objective: Information dissemination is a preventive effort to
minimize the number of problems related to the adolescents’ reproductive health.
A preliminary research on 10 adolescents aged 13 – 15 years old shows that 5 of
them had less knowledge of reproductive health. To investigate the effect of
extension on the reproductive health knowledge level of the adolescents of State
Junior Secondary School 16 of Surakarta.
Method: This research used the experimental research method with the pretestposttest
control group design. The method employed lecturing one aided with the
power point media. The samples of research were taken by using the cluster
random sampling technique. They consisted of 166 respondents. They were
divided into two, groups, namely: experimental group and control group. Each
group consisted of 83. The data of research were collected through questionnaire
and analyzed by using the Mann Whitney U Test.
Result: In term of knowledge of reproductive health, prior to the extension 42.2%
of the respondents had good knowledge, 50.6% had fair knowledge, and 7.5% had
less knowledge. Following the extension, 91.6% had good knowledge, and the
rest 8.4% had fair knowledge as indicated by the significance value of 0.000.
Conclusion: There was an effect of extension on the reproductive health
knowledge level of the adolescents of State Junior Secondary School 16 of
Surakarta.
