ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Balita di Indonesia sebanyak 162 ribu meninggal setiap tahun akibat diare. Kasus diare pada balita berkaitan dengan pengetahuan ibu dan sikap ibu dalam pencegahan diare. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang diare dengan sikap ibu dalam mencegah diare pada balita di posyandu Belimbing kelurahan Danukusuman.
Metode: Jenis observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 54 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Spearman’s Rank.
Hasil: Responden yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik tentang diare sebanyak 39 responden (72,2%) dan 31 responden (57,4%) mempunyai sikap yang positif dalam mencegah diare pada balita. Hasil analisis Spearman’s Rank diperoleh nilai ρ value sebesar 0,000 (ρ < 0,05). Nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,637
Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu tentang diare dengan sikap ibu dalam mencegah diare pada balita di posyandu Belimbing kelurahan Danukusuman.

ABSTRACT
Background : Every year 162.000 toddlers die due to diarrhea. This case of diarrhea is closely related to the mothers’ knowledge of the diarrhea and attitude to prevent them. Objective to investigate the correlation between the mothers’ knowledge of diarrhea and their attitude to prevent them attacking the toddlers at Belimbing Integrated Service Post of Danukusuman Ward
Method : This research used the observational analytical method with the cross-sectional design. The samples of reearch were taken by using the total sampling technique. They consisted of 54 respondents. The data of research were were collected through questionnaire and were statistically analyzed by using the Spearman’s Rank.
Result : 39 respondents (72,2%) had good knowledge of diarrhea, 31 respondents (57,4%) had a positive attitude to prevent diarrhea attacking the toddlers. The result of Spearman’s Rank shows that the p-value was 0,000 (p?0,05) and the value of correlation (r) was 0,637.
Conclusion : there was a significant correlation between mother’s knowledge of diarrhea and their attitude to prevent diarrhea attacking the toddlers at Belimbing Integrated Service Post of Danukusuman Ward.
