ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis eksposisi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Concept Sentence pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 3 Sragen tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dan meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran keterampilan menulis eksposisi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas berlangsung selama dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Tiap pertemuan terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sebagai subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 3 Sragen yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji validitas datanya adalah triangulasi sumber dan teknik.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tersebut di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Concept Sentence dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis eksposisi pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 3 Sragen tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis eksposisi tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya ketuntasan klasikal siswa pada setiap siklus yaitu; sebelum tindakan (prasiklus) siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas kriterian ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yaitu 70 hanya 12 siswa (40%), siklus I sebanyak 18 siswa memperoleh nilai di atas KKM (60%), dan siklus II sebanyak 27 siswa memperoleh nilai di atas KKM (90%).

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to improve of students skill in exposition writing by using Cooperative Model Type Concept Sentence in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 3 Sragen at 2014/2015 academic year and to improve quality of the learning process exposition writing. The research was classroom action research, it conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two confluence. Each cycle consist of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sragen as many as 30 students. The technique of collection data were observation, in-depth interview, test, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data was the interactive model of analysis conclusion drawing. The data validity were are source triangulation and technique traingulation.
Based on the results og this research which hels in two cycles, a conclusion is drawn that with the application of cooperative learning model type concept sentence can improve the exposition writing skill in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sragen at 2014/2015 academic year. The improvement of the exposition writing skill can be proved by the increase of the classical student completeness on each cycle. Before the treatment (precycle) the students who pass the completeness minumum criteria (KKM) more than 70 is only 12 students (40%). In the first cycle as much as 18 students can pass the KKM (60%). In the second cycle as much as 27 can pass the KKM (90%).
