ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan Self Regulated Learning (SRL) untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo.
Menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design, subyek penelitian yang berjumlah 20 terbagi secara matching berdasarkan nilai SRL menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Alat pengumpul data SRL menggunakan angket MSLQ (The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) dikembangkan Pintrich, dkk (1991) yang telah dimodifikasi peneliti. Data tentang prestasi belajar Matematika diperoleh dari hasil tes prestasi belajar Matematika melalui tes tertulis dan tugas yang diberikan guru mata pelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney dan Wilcoxon dengan bantuan IBM Statistic 20.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SRL dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika peserta didik. Peningkatan terjadi karena tumbuhnya motivasi belajar dan keefektifan penggunaan strategi belajar yang diterapkan peserta didik. Motivasi belajar tumbuh dari keyakinan peserta didik bahwa dirinya mampu mencapai tujuan belajar yang ditetapkan. Keluwesan menggunakan strategi belajar dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru mata pelajaran dan pemodelan.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Self Regulated Learning efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Sukoharjo.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) to improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class VII State Junior High School 5 Sukoharjo.
The method used in this research was Quasi Experimental Design. Study subjects of this research were 20 divided into a control and experiment group by matching based on SRL. The SRL data collected using MSLQ (The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) developed Pintrinch, et al. (1991) that had been modified by the researcher. The mathematics learning achievement data gained from test results of achievement through written tests and assignments given by the teachers. Data analysis used was from Mann Whitney and Wilcoxon help by IBM Statistic 20.
The result shows that SRL can improve mathematics students’ mathematics learning. The improvement occured because the growth of learning motivation and affectiveness of the use of learning strategies. The motivation to learn grew from students’ conviction that they can achieve the goal. The flexibility of the use of learning strategies was influenced the learning models applied by the teachers and modeling.
Conclusions of this research is Self Regulated Learning effective to improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class VII State Junior High School 5 Sukoharjo.
