ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan antara penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dan metode Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (2) pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dengan metode Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (3) seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dengan metode Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa. Adapun penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI IIS di SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta.
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kausal komparatif dengan bentuk penelitian semu. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas diambil dengan teknik multistage cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t independen sampel.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Ada perbedaan penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dan metode Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan selisih dari kedua t sebesar 2.213, dan ? sebesar 0.035 (signifikan). (2) Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dan Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis t = 2.213; dengan ?= 0.035 (signifikan). (3) Besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dan Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta sebesar 34%.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan penggunaan metode Snowball Drilling dan metode Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. Nilai rata-rata kelas metode Snowball Drilling lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata kelas metode Jigsaw. Metode belajar memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa yaitu sebesar 34% sedangkan 66% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out : (1) the difference between Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw Method on sociology learning outcomes (2) the effect between Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw method on sociology learning outcomes (3) the amount between Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw method on sociology learning outcomes. This research was in the social program student class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta.
This is a causal comparative study through quasi experiment research. The population of the research was all of student in SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta in the academic year 2014/2015. The sample of this research consisted of two classes taken by using multistage cluster random sampling. Techniques of collecting the data were documentation, questionnaire, and test. Techniques of data analyze were independent sample t-test.
It is shown that: (1) there is difference between Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw method on sociology learning outcomes in the social program student class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. It can be seen that there is a difference between t=2.213 and ?= 0.035. (2) there is an effect between Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw method on sociology learning outcomes in the social program student class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. It can be seen that t=2.213 and ?= 0.035. (3) the effect of using different learning method to the sociology learning outcomes in the social program student class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta is 34%.
In conclusion, there is a difference in sociology learning outcomes of Snowball Drilling method and Jigsaw method in the social program student class XI of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. Snowball Drilling class provides higher learning outcomes than Jigsaw class. Learning method provides 34% effect to the Sociology learning outcomes and 66% is provided by another factor.
