×Sebelas Maret University.Kombucha is an anti-cancer. Anti-cancer constrain excessive mytosis as
an alcilation agent, antimytosis,and antimetabolit. This research was sought to
find out : the effect of kombucha on external and internal growth and
development of wistar line mice fetus.
This research used complete random planning with four treatment; that is by
giving aquadest 2 ml/200 gr W (control); giving kombucha tea 1,4 ml/200 gr W
(lowest dossage); 2,8 ml/200 gr W (suggested dossage); 4,2 ml/200 gr W (highest
dossage), each treatment was done six times. The parameter which is measured
includes eksternal parameter : the weight of the mother, the weight and length of
the fetus, death and reabsorbtion of the fetus, and the morfology of the fetus;
internal parameter includes : the shape of the skeleton, and the result of skeletal
process of the fetus. Normal and homogeneous data will be analyzed with varian
analysis (ANAVA), abnormal and heterogenous data will be analyzed with
Kruskall-Wallis, then the test is continued using DMRT test with 5% significancy
grade using SPSS software v.14.
The result of the research shows that giving kombucha tea with various
dossages does not factually effect the internal and external growth and
development of mice fetus. Treatment on mice by giving kombucha during
organogenesis phase is proven to be safe.
