ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji keefektifan bimbingan belajar dengan metode talking stick untuk meningkatkan keberanian mengemukakan pendapat pada peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Mojogedang Tahun Ajaran 2014/ 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian eksperimen ini merupakan penelitian dengan memberikan treatment. Pada desain ini terdapat pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Treatment yang diberikan yaitu bimbingan belajar dengan metode Talking Stick yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keberanian mengemukakan pendapat. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Mojogedang yang berjumlah 31 orang. Sumber data berasal dari peserta didik, guru kelas, dan observer. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dan skala sikap. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen skala sikap menggunakan Pearson Correlation dan Alpha Cronbach, sedangkan uji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan berdasarkan rumus dan perhitungan statistik. Hasil penghitungan statistik menunjukkan bahwa saat pretest diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 47,654 > 2,040 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (0,000 < 0,05) sedangkan postest diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 52,936 > 2,040 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (0,000 < 0,05). Berdasarkan penghitungan statistik menggunakan Paired Sample t-test diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu -5,304 > 2,040 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (0,000 < 0,05). Karena sig. < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak, artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata keberanian mengemukakan pendapat sebelum dan sesudah treatment bimbingan belajar dengan metode Talking Stick. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bimbingan belajar dengan metode Talking Stick efektif untuk meningkatkan keberanian mengemukakan pendapat peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Mojogedang Tahun Ajaran 2014/ 2015. Kata kunci: bimbingan belajar, talking stick, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat ABSTRACT The objective of research was to examine the effectiveness of learning guidance with talking stick method to improve the bravery of expressing opinion in the 5th graders of the First Public Elementary School Mojogedang in the school year of 2014/2015. This study was an experimental research using one-group pretest-posttest design. This experimental research was the one giving treatment. In this design, there were pretest, treatment and posttest. The treatment given was learning guidance with Talking Stick method conducted to improve the bravery of expressing opinion. The subject of research was the 5th graders of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Mojogedang (the First Public Elementary School of Mojogedang), consisting of 31 students. The data source derived from students, class teacher, and observer. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, interview, and attitude scale. The validity and reliability tests on the attitude scale instrument were carried out using Pearson Correlation and Alpha Cronbach, while data validity test was carried out using data triangulation technique. The data analysis was conducted using calculation based on formulation and statistic calculation. The result of statistic calculation showed that during pretest, it could be found that t stat > t tab 47.654 > 2.040 at significance level of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05), while posttest was obtained from t stat > t table 52.936 > 2.040 at significance level of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). Considering the statistic estimation using Paired Sample t-test, it could be found t stat > t table -5.304 > 2.040 at significance level of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). Because significance level < 0.05, it could be concluded that Ho was not supporter, meaning that there was a difference of mean score for the bravery of expressing opinion between before and after treatment – learning guidance with Talking Stick method. The conclusion of research was learning guidance with Talking Stick method was effective to improve the bravery of expressing opinion of the 5th graders of the First Public Elementary School Mojogedang in the school year of 2014/2015.
