ABSTRAK
Keadaan anak autis yang terganggu interaksi sosial,bermain, bahasa,perilaku,perasaan dan emosi membuat ibu merasa tertekan dan memiliki psychological well being yang buruk. Kemampuan regulasi emosi yang baik diperlukan untuk membantu ibu mengatasi ketegangan, berbagai reaksi emosional dan mengurangi emosi negatif akibat pengalaman emosional.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui efektivitas pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi terhadap peningkatan psychological well being pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis di SLB Alamanda Surakarta, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi terhadap peningkatan psychological well being pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis di SLB Alamanda Surakarta.
Penelitian ini merupakan quasi-experimental researchdengan menggunakan desain non randomized control group pretest-posttest. Subyek penelitian adalah dua belas orang ibu yang memiliki anak autis yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberi perlakuan. Skala psychological well beingyang dimodifikasi dari Ryff’s Psychological Well BeingScaledigunakan untuk mengukur tingkat psychological well being sebelum dan setelah perlakuan.
Hasil analisis kuantitatif dengan uji Wilcoxon T, diperoleh besarnya nilai z hitung sebesar -2,201 dan p 0,028 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi efektif dalam meningkatkan psychological well being pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis di SLB Alamanda Surakarta. Sedangkan hasil analisis kuantitatif dengan uji Mann-Whitney U, diperoleh besarnya nilai z hitung -2,887 dan p 0,004 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan ketrampilan regulasi emosi terhadap peningkatan psychological well being pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis di SLB Alamanda Surakarta. Serta hasil kualitatif, subyek pada kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor psychological well being yang ditunjukkan dari skala psychological well being, lembar evaluasi yang telah diisi, sharing, worksheet dan observasi. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, subyek telah mampu memahami situasi dan kondisi anaknya, memahami perasaan, menerima, mengelola dan mengubah emosi. Perubahan tersebut membuat subyek dapat berkomunikasi lancar, memahami keinginan, dan tidak terlalu menuntut anak untuk sesuai dengan harapan subyek.

ABSTRACT
The situation of children with autism are impaired social interaction, play, language, behavior, feelings and emotions makes the mother feel depressed and have a bad psychological well being. The ability of emotion regulation are both needed to help mothers cope with tension, various emotional reactions and reduce negative emotions due to emotional experience.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of emotion regulation skills training to increase psychological well being in mother who have children with autism in SLB Alamanda Surakarta, and to determine the influence of emotion regulation skills training to increase psychological well being in mother who have children with autism in SLB Alamanda Surakarta.
This study is a quasi-experimental research design using non-randomized control group pretest-posttest. Subjects were twelve mothers of children with autism were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was treated in the form of emotion regulation skills training, whereas the untreated control group. Scale psychological well being modified from Ryff's Psychological Well Being Scale is used to measure the level of psychological well being before and after treatment.
The results of quantitative analysis by Wilcoxon T, note the value of z count equal to -2.201 0.028 and p <0.05, so it can be concluded that emotion regulation skills training is effective in improving psychological well being in women who have children with autism in SLB Alamanda Surakarta. And on qualitative results, the subjects in the experimental group increased psychological well being score shown on the scale of psychological well being, evaluation sheets which had been filled, sharing, and observation worksheets. After training, subjects were able to understand the situation and the condition of her son, to understand the feelings, receiving, managing and changing emotions. Such changes make the subject can communicate fluently, understand the desire, and not too demanding children do something in line with expectations of the subject.
